Trip terms and conditions
Bookings and payments
A booking is confirmed once the agreed deposit is paid. The balance must be settled before the trip start date, as stated in the confirmation sent by Marimbea.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be notified in writing. Refund conditions depend on how far in advance notice is given and on commitments already made with communities and local providers.
Itinerary changes
Weather, tide or public order conditions in the Colombian Pacific may require activities to be modified. Marimbea guarantees activities of equivalent quality and cultural content.
Traveller responsibility
Travellers are responsible for holding valid documents and travel insurance, and for reporting any relevant medical condition before departure.
