Essential Immersion in Guapi

Day-by-day itinerary

4 days and 3 nights in Guapi, Cauca.

1. Day 1

   Songs of sea and river

   Arrival in Guapi and a first encounter with the flavours, sounds and stories of the Cauca Pacific. After lunch we walk through emblematic places of the town, take part in a traditional music experience and learn about viche, the ancestral drink deeply tied to the memory and celebrations of this territory.

   

2. Day 2

   Gorgona and encounters with whales*

   Early departure to Gorgona National Natural Park, where we explore one of the most biodiverse ecosystems of the Colombian Pacific. We visit Playa Yundigua, enjoy time on the island and, during whale season, watch humpback whales from the coast and listen to their songs in a responsible, non-invasive way. We return to Guapi in the late afternoon.

   

3. Day 3

   Community, river and local knowledge

   We share time with local communities through activities that reflect everyday life in the territory: traditional crops, paddling a potrillo canoe along the river and artisanal fishing practices, understanding the close relationship between culture, nature and community in the Pacific.

   

4. Day 4

   Farewell to Guapi

   After breakfast we visit a showcase of local crafts before the transfer to the airport or river port. A calm ending to say goodbye to the landscapes, flavours and encounters of the experience.

   

*Humpback whale watching depends on the season (July to October) and sea conditions. The visit to Gorgona National Natural Park is subject to availability and park permits.
